This Privacy Policy describes how ENOL LLC ("Enol Labs," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and handles data when you install and use the AI Product Title Optimizer application (the "App") on your Shopify store.

By installing the App, you agree to the data practices described in this policy.

1. Who We Are

2. Data We Access

When you install AI Product Title Optimizer, we access the following data from your Shopify store via the Shopify API, limited to what is necessary to provide the app's features:

Store Information

• Shop name, domain, country, and plan type
• Store locale and currency (for display purposes)

Product Data

• Product titles (required for scoring and optimization)
• Product descriptions and images (used where provided to give the AI additional context for generating relevant title suggestions)
• Product identifiers (IDs) to associate optimizations with your products

App Usage Data

• Optimization history (which titles were changed, when, and from/to what)
• Feature usage (e.g., bulk runs, rollbacks, AI suggestion requests)
• Number of optimizations used in the current billing period

Billing and Subscription Data

• Your current subscription plan and status (provided by Shopify's billing API)
• We do not access or store your payment card details — billing is processed entirely by Shopify

3. How We Use Data

We use the data listed above for the following purposes:

• Title scoring: Analyzing product titles to compute a quality score and surface improvement suggestions.
• AI suggestions: Sending product data to our AI provider to generate improved title suggestions. See Section 4 for details on AI processing.
• Optimization history: Storing a log of past optimizations so you can review, export, or roll back changes.
• Usage tracking: Enforcing plan limits (e.g., 20 optimizations/month on the Free plan) and displaying your remaining usage.
• Billing: Checking your subscription status through Shopify to determine which features you can access.
• Support: Diagnosing issues and answering support requests from merchants.

4. AI Processing Disclosure

When you request an AI title suggestion for a product, relevant product data — including the product title, description, and/or image context — is transmitted to our third-party AI service provider solely for the purpose of generating a title suggestion.

We do not sell your product data to AI providers. Our AI provider(s) process your data under a data processing agreement and are not permitted to use your data to train their general models.

You should review and approve any AI-generated suggestion before applying it to your store. The AI is a tool to assist you; its output may not always be accurate or appropriate for your products.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• AI service providers: As described in Section 4, for generating title suggestions.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers: Our app is hosted on cloud infrastructure that processes data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
• Legal compliance: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your store has the App installed and as needed to provide the service. Specifically:

• Optimization history is retained per your plan (Free plan: 7 days; paid plans: extended).
• App configuration and usage data is retained while the App is installed.
• Upon uninstallation, we begin the process of deleting your store's data. You may also request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not make any specific security certification claims (such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001) in this policy.

8. Your Rights and Data Deletion

As a merchant using our App, you have the right to:

• Request a summary of data we hold about your store
• Request deletion of your store's data
• Uninstall the App at any time to stop future data access

Note: Some data may be retained for a period after deletion requests to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

9. Shopify's Role

The App is built on the Shopify platform. Shopify's own Privacy Policy governs how Shopify handles data. We access merchant and product data through the Shopify API in accordance with Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and API Terms of Service.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by businesses (Shopify merchants) and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
